What is Microdermabrasion?
This treatment removes the dead outer layer of skin and helps fresh, new skin resurface. Microdermabrasion facials stimulate collagen production and can aide in evening out blotchy skin tone and texture.
Who is a good candidate for Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is recommended for anyone over the age of 14 and is effective on all skin types and tones. Dull, oily, and leathery skin texture are all great indicators that you might benefit from microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion helps eliminate enlarged pores, clogged acne pores, mild acne scarring, fine lines, and mild pigment irregularities.
What is a Microdermabrasion Facial?
Wondering what the actual procedure is like? Microdermabrasion is done with a fine diamond tip to painlessly remove the surface layer of the skin. The procedure takes about 30 to 60 minutes.
Are there any side effects of the treatment?
Initially the skin may appear slightly red, but this symptom will disappear over the course of 24 hours. Mild skin peeling may also occur.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime with microdermabrasion; you may return to normal activities immediately following treatment. It is recommended that you use sunscreen with at least SPF 30 after treatment and to avoid all sun exposure after microdermabrasion.

PRP
Platelet-rich plasma involves nothing more than your own drawn blood, concentrated. We take a few tubes of your blood and run it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. These platelets contain “growth factors,” or proteins, that stimulate cell growth, differentiation, and tissue repair. When the platelets are re-injected into your joints, they can help healing on a number of levels.
The best part? Since the injection involves strictly your own blood, you are not at risk for allergic or other adverse reactions. Younger, fresher-looking skin without any recovery time or side effects? Yes, please!
