Lip Fillers

Lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that can give you fuller, plumper lips.
Similar to other dermal fillers, lip fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, and can be used to add volume to lips, smooth wrinkles, and improve lip shape and definition.

Benefit One

Enhanced Lip Volume

Lip fillers provide increased volume to the lips, creating a fuller and more defined appearance that enhances facial symmetry.

Benefit Two

Improved Lip Contour

Fillers can refine the shape and contour of the lips, correcting asymmetry or adding definition to the cupid’s bow and vermillion border for a balanced look.

Benefit Three

Youthful Appearance

By restoring lost volume and smoothing fine lines around the lips, fillers help achieve a more youthful appearance, reducing the signs of aging.

Benefit Four

Customizable Results

Lip fillers offer customizable results tailored to individual preferences, allowing patients to achieve subtle enhancements or more dramatic transformations based on their goals.

Benefit Five

Quick Procedure with Minimal Downtime

The procedure for lip fillers is typically quick, often completed in a short session with minimal discomfort, making it convenient for individuals with busy lifestyles.

Benefit Six

Long-Lasting Effects

Lip fillers provide long-lasting results, with effects typically lasting several months to a year depending on the type of filler used and individual metabolism.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is different for everyone, and may require additional visits depending on the goals. For most, a half syringe or at most a full syringe of lip filler is needed.

Lip fillers usually last 6 to 12 months, but can last up to 18 months depending on metabolism and the amount used for treatment. To maintain fuller lips, touch-ups may be required once or twice a year.

The procedure takes only 30 to 40 minutes. If anesthesia is necessary, it can be easily achieved with a topical anesthetic or a local anesthetic placed by your skin care professional. Most fillers have lidocaine mixed in to minimize any discomfort.

Downtime is minimal. It is recommended to avoid exercise for 12 hours after treatment.

There may be some mild swelling and redness in the area of treatment. This is a normal result of the injection and generally resolves in 72 hours. Mild bruising may also be seen. Other reactions are very uncommon. These include transient but more intense redness, swelling, or tenderness at the site of injection and is seen in only 1 out of every 200 patients treated. This rare reaction typically resolves after a few weeks.
