- Avoid all pain meds over the counter except Tylenol for 3 days before and after treatment.
- Stop Vitamin E, Gingko Biloba and fish oils 3 days prior to treatment.
- If prone to cold sores, Valacyclovir (Valtrex) or Acyclovir should be taken for 2 to 3 days prior to treatment and continued for a full week.
- Coumadin and other blood thinners are not a contraindication to dermal fillers but please inform us prior to treatment if you are on these medications.
- You are NOT a candidate if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Massage the areas 5 times a day, for 5 minutes each time, for 5 days after treatment.
- Makeup can be applied after 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment
