- Avoid over-the-counter pain medications other than Tylenol for several days before treatment, unless otherwise directed by your physician
- Avoid supplements such as vitamin E, fish oil, and ginkgo biloba before treatment if medically appropriate
- Avoid alcohol shortly before your appointment
- Let us know if you are prone to cold sores
- Tell your provider if you take blood thinners or have any medical conditions
- Arrive with clean skin and minimal makeup when possible
