FAQ’s

What is the Vampire Facelift?

The Vampire Facial uses PRP, platelet rich plasma, with dermal fillers to restore volume, correct facial lines and wrinkles, and minimize scars. The dermal fillers provide initial volume  correction which is then enhanced by stimulating your body’s own collagen production. The growth factors in PRP provide the nutrients and energy your cells need to produce collagen and elastin.

How is PRP obtained?

PRP comes from your own body. A small amount of blood is drawn and prepped to obtain a serum rich in growth factors.

How long does the treatment take?

The Vampire Facelift generally requires about an hour, although it may be longer in some cases when multiple areas are being treated.

Is the treatment painful?

No. There is minimal discomfort with this treatment. The skin will be anesthetized with special topical numbing to make the experience quite comfortable and easy.

Is there any downtime after the Vampire Facelift?

It is recommended that you avoid alcohol intake and exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

When will I see results?

You will notice some change immediately following treatment. This is primarily the effect of dermal fillers. Over the following 6 to 8 weeks, however, the collagen production stimulated by the growth factors will become apparent. Additional treatments may be required.
